I can't rave enough about how wonderful, thoughtful, and helpful everyone at Taco Chile was last Saturday night. With very little warning, our friends gathered on the back porch to celebrate a 40th birthday party and the staff were beyond accommodating. From reserving our tables at a walk-up and seat yourself restaurant, to having several of our own servers, our own water jug, our own personal service, and a 40th birthday pudding for the birthday boy, I can't thank Taco Chile enough for their tremendous customer service last weekend. If you are looking for a fabulous time with some awesome people, then go to Taco Chile and enjoy.

Great place to grab lunch, was lucky to grab a parking spot. Not too loud, you can eat in peace and the food is good.

Always consistently delicious and speedy service! Love the GF/DF options. Fresh ingredients and guac. Great indoor and outdoor space even when it's smoking hot outside.

I got lucky and got parking right on the side. There is seating inside and outside. The carne asada taco was really good. The chips and salsa were stale but and not worth it. I would definitely could back and try some other tacos. The servers were really sweet.

*went to Tempe location* Great atmosphere, very chill vibes. Wait in line and order your food, they give you a number and bring your food to the table. Saw this place on instagram last night and decided to check it out today. Great flavors, but prefer flour tortilla over corn

I met some friends at Taco Chelo for girls night. First, I tried the house margarita with peach. It was a great balance of sweet and slightly tart. Next I had a Fridarita (frozen margarita with prickly pair float she tajin rim) and that was a perfect summer drink for sipping on the patio. Quesadillas were a great complement to the cocktails. The red salsa had the perfect amount of heat and flavor. Service was excellent, and everyone's order was brought out quickly.

Taco Chelo is an awesome vibrant taco joint in downtown phoenix in the heart of Roosevelt Row! They serve up classic and more unique tacos, along with a variety of salads, tortas, and botanas. The interior is super colorful and they have a great outdoor patio. In the restaurant you see them making their homemade corn tortillas!! Love this spot for taco tuesday, happy hour, or for a casual hangout with friends! The service is great, very efficient and food comes out quickly. Got to try several of their tacos all of which I loved. Tried the costra taco and fish taco both of which were great. The costra was so savory and rich with the caramelized onions and cheese and the fish taco was one of the best I've had in the valley! Also got their spicy margarita which was perfectly strong and not too sour or artificial tasting. Definitely recommend this spot!

Super enjoyed this place during our visit to Az. Such a fun vibe , great music, great staff. Our food and drinks were fantastic! I'm not a vegetarian but tried their vegetarian taco and man I Super enjoy it! The sweet potatoes were amazing with all the different toppings! Absolutely impressed which is hard to do! The hand man tortillas were amazing as well. We also ordered a fish taco, their costra tacos as well. Everything was on point! Definitely the one food I'll remember during our trip. Felicidades!

Now these tacos are nothing like San Diego (or Mexico), but for Arizona, I would say these are top tier. My boyfriend told me that the tortillas are freshly made by hand, and they are near perfect -- so good! He ordered a chicken and two carnitas tacos, I got a fish, carnitas and barbacoa taco, and we got the chicharrones. I will say that the tacos were very oily, as in dripping, but that also adds some flavor. The fish taco, which also had a rich crema, and the barbacoa tacos were my favorite. The carnitas taco was also tasty, but I had a lot of fat pieces, which my boyfriend is more a fan of. The chicharrones had a kick to them, but were so crunchy and delicious. We each had a Jarritos to drink, but their beverages sounded enticing. We also sat outside since it was so nice out, but I would like to dine in because the establishment looks cute. It is a pretty open and inviting space. I definitely want to come back and try other food on the menu, as well as come back for the chicharrones.

Ambiance (5/5): There is plenty indoor and outdoor dining available. There's also a takeout pick up by the bar. I loved the decor on the inside and vibrant vibes. Service (N/A): Countertop ordering and then they bring out the food to you by assigned numbers after ordering. The food does not come out at the same time. My initial order was wrong and caused delay. Fish (5/5): the battered fish taco tasted great with the white sauce giving it a creaminess to the bite. Carnitas (4/5): I've had better carnitas elsewhere as it needed more spices in the flavor. It was a smidge too dry for me but overall still a good taco. The tortillas can be subbed for flour!
